For maximum deliciousness, do this:
Thaw the quiche in the fridge overnight or quick thaw it in a microwave oven. Quiche can be stored frozen for up to 3 months. Once thawed, eat within 5 days.
To heat from frozen:
Microwave: Take the frozen quiche out of the pie tin and place on a microwavable plate. Using the thaw or auto-defrost setting, heat for 3-5 minutes. Once thawed, return it to the pie tin. The quiche may still be slightly frozen, but you will be able to cut pieces from it. Microwave the individual pieces for 1 minute or until heated through.
Oven: Follow the instructions for thawing in the microwave. Place
in a preheated, 300 degree oven for 40-45 minutes or until heated through. Place foil around the crust to prevent over-browning.
Heating from thawed:
Microwave: Cut individual slices from the quiche and heat to the desired temperature. Start with 1 minute.
Oven: Place in a preheated, 300 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until heated through. Place foil around the crust to prevent over-browning.
